A little bit about us in Scunthorpe…
We are a small, extremely busy, well established practice based on one of Scunthorpe’s main roads and major bus routes, between the Town Centre and Ashby High Street.
We have onsite parking for disabled persons and adequate disabled access into the practice with all three of our surgeries being on ground floor level, there is free parking available for our patients less than a two-minute walk in any direction.
We pride ourselves as a practice on delivering the best experience for each and every patient, new or existing that walk into our practice, calls us or sends us an e-mail.
Our practice offers NHS, Private and our very own DDS Care Scheme, this has been increasingly popular and well received as our NHS is currently only open for children as are the majority of practices in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas so DDS is a huge success as an affordable alternative.
Over the last six years our practice has received several equipment upgrades, we are a fully computerised practice with Digital X-Rays and lovely modern dental equipment, a hearing loop is installed at our reception and is available on request.
As a practice we are proud to offer a wide range of treatments including: Implants, Invisalign, Six Month Smile, Zoom Whitening, Crowns and Aesthetic Dentistry and also Oral Surgery.
Our dentists also speak in various languages including: English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.
We also have a hearing loop available at request.

Lisa
Assistant Manager
My name is Lisa and I started working in this practice in 2010 as a trainee dental nurse. I attended college in Grimsby 2 nights a week and was qualified 18 months later. I love dental nursing because no two days are the same, there’s always something new. Nowadays I’m mainly on reception and have enjoyed the change, though I do love getting back into my scrubs and getting in on the action. I enjoy spending time with my family and socialising. I also run my own aquatic business and have a very successful shop located in Scunthorpe.

My name is Paula Alexandra Goncalves Miranda and I qualified in Oporto Dentistry School in 2000. At university, I always had a specialist interest in Oral Surgery, Periodontics, orthodontics and implantology, which led me to qualify with honours in these fields.
After graduating, I decided to do a postgraduate in orthodontics and a master's degree in implantology and bone grafts. I have since also completed a 6-month course on smile and Invisalign.
I started working for The Dental Design Studio in 2013 and really enjoy all aspects of my work. In what little spare time I have left, I enjoy running and spending time with my family.

I am one of our longest standing members of the practice, with 30 years’ experience in the dental industry. I have been at the Ashby Road practice for 17 years, serving the Dental Design Studio for just under 5 years. Since being employed by the Dental Design Studio in 2013, I have greatly developed my dental knowledge and I.T. capabilities.
In my personal time, I love to work on my award-winning countryside garden. I greatly enjoy entertaining with my husband and son, although much of my present time at home is taken up by caring for my new addition to the household - Rolo, the Dachshund.

My name is Ellé Moore, I am an apprentice Dental Nurse. I am really enjoying this role in my career and I feel like it will open up a lot of opportunities for me in the future.
Having my Uncle being a Dental Technician for the company a while back I have had an interest in the dentistry career ever since.
I enjoy playing the piano in my spare time which I have done since a young age and I also like spending time with my family
